Continuous composite bridge

This article is also available in
ENCS

An example of a continuous composite bridge T-shape beam. Typically, the beam in the first stage is a precast concrete structure. The top layer is reinforced cast in situ concrete. The tendons used in this model have straight, and parabolic shapes. Such a member is typical for bridge structures. Analysis was done taking into account the construction stages and time-dependent analysis (TDA). Modeled in the IDEA StatiCa Beam application.
