ENCSDE

An example of part of the steel structure frame. Rolled I-section beam is connected at both ends to flanges of I-section columns using bolted endplates with welded ribs modeled to increase the stiffness of the connection. Two I-section diagonal bracings are connected to the middle part of the beam using bolted endplates and two pairs of stiffeners at each bracing. Such a frame is typical for structures designed in seismic areas. Modeled in the IDEA StatiCa Member application.
