How to use the link
Open the attached AISC project in SAP2000 and run the calculation.
The BIM link should be already integrated. You can find it in the top ribbon under Tools -> IdeaSAP2000v1PluginWrapper. This will open the Checkbot application.
Select the New option with project type Steel, AISC design code, and sub-code LRFD (AISC 360-16). Then select Create project.
The new Checkbot project is ready to import connections from SAP2000.
In SAP2000, select one of the inside columns making sure you also select the lowest node.

"value": "<p>To create the base plate connection, we are going to use the manufacturing operations. This means that the connection is valid and has passed all code-checks. "value": "<p>Sometimes, there are changes to your FEA model, such as different member cross-section or increased load. These can be synchronized between <a data-item-id=\"caeb1a6c-2621-446f-8005-4d2799496a39\" href=\"\">Checkbot</a> and the FEA model.</p>\n<p>There are two possible alternatives:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Synchronize the <strong>Current item</strong> (if one or more joints are selected)</li>\n <li>Synchronize the whole imported <strong>Structural model</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>To test this feature, you can change a member cross-section in your FEA application. The previously finished connection design is preserved, but the code-checks will be invalidated.
